Folder issues

Hi guys
I don't know what I did to my computer, but I just noticed that when I want to open a folder it goes to search instead of opening the folder. Like if I want to open MY PICTURES and I double click on it to open it to see my pics it opens up in search results mode. Does anyone know what I did to cause this, and if there is a way to fix it, so when I click on it, it opens up like normal.

if:
1) you're running Win XP
2) have the system restore option enabled
than:
try to run a system restore to a date when your problem didn't exist :)
it's located in:
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

Thanks vl_gyurov. I know about that feature on XP. But I'd rather find out how it happened and how I can fix it without restoring it. Don't want to make that mistake again in the future.
