HttWheel, most people with TM do get better but during the two years. The recovery decreases after time. Probably regenerative and remyelinative therapies will be needed to restore function.

Wise,
What are regenerative and remyelination therapies? My 9 year old son was diagnosed with TM on 11/20/2005. He is a T-10 complete; however his inflammatin occurred from T-4 to the end of the spine. He also has nerve damage. There aren't any gaping holes in the spine, but there are pin holes. He was treated by Dr. Kerr and rehabbed at KKI with Dr. McDonald.
Thanks for the info. I am always searching for hope. :)
