What is a SPYWARE and ADWARE ? (Source by ZDNET)
Spyware often installs as a third-party component bundled with a freeware or shareware application, just like adware, making the distinction between the two somewhat vague. Spyware includes code used to gather and transmit information about the user or his or her behaviour to a third party. This statistical data often is collected without the knowledge or consent of the user.
Adware typically, adware components install alongside a shareware or freeware application. These advertisements create revenue for the software developer and are provided with initial consent from the user. Adware displays Web-based advertisements through pop-up windows or through an advertising banner that appears within a program's interface. Getting pop-up advertisements when you’re working on your computer is very annoying.
Recommended softwares
Although there are many softwares out there to combat these situation, therefore we have listed the ones we use. While there are two or more softwares that has the same function but different companies uses different technology to locate this virus / spywares and it also depends on how wide their coverage is. Therefore, we use a couple of program just for the extra protection.

2. Norton Anti Virus by Symantec
Anti Spyware / Adware Software
1. Microsoft Anti-Spyware by Microsoft
2. Ad-Aware SE Personal by Lavasoft
3. Spybot - Search & Destroy by PepiMK Software
