I would like to if there is a way to play MOV files on Windows Media Player without downloading the Quicktime player ?

I don't believe so. Apples pretty tight on their products. Quicktimes actually better than mediaplayer in my opinion.

I prefer the Quicktime Alternative (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm), as well as the Realplayer Alternitives (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alternative.htm). I hate both Quicktime and Realplayer because the install too much crap.
