I've been running Opera as an addition to Mozilla's Firefox for the past 4 days and it has Firefox beat in a number of areas, most notably, its ability to load the CC full Smiles page in a few seconds where the fox was taking over a minute w my dial-up connection. It only shows the smiles letter abbreviations in the post creation field but they show full in the preview or submitted post. I does loose the list if you preview first but with the speed of bring it back that hardly matters.
(Now my impulse, naturally, is to fill the rest of the page w Smiles...won't do it though.) Aww, WTF:

Having no access to CCs spell check (my privilages are not sufficent?) and having installed Mozilla's Firefox browser months ago (another great find right here in "Useful links and downloads"), I've found a happy solution.:)
I run a single window of Firefox and leave Dictionary.com on screen. I also run as many tabed windows of Opera as I like, including the CC forums.
When filling a field in anything, most often a CC post/reply, I submit any words I'm unsure of to the Dictionary.com site for verification or correction using a copy/paste cross browser technique. As I'm a lousy speller with a fair vocabulary, this arrangement is working fine for me.;) :D

The google toolbar for firefox has a spell checker that I use a lot when filling out forms and replies and such. Works pretty good.
http://toolbar.google.com
depending on which broweser you visit the site with dictates what version of the toolbar is available. So if you visit using IE then the toolbar for IE will be available if you visit using firefox then the toolbar for firefox will be available. I don't use opera so I have no idea if such a toolbar exists for opera.
