Does anybody know if there is an easy way to go back to the web page from the download page in opera browser. It sends me there automatically, which is OK, but the back button doesn't work. I have no panels showing.

The transfer window, by default, opens in a new tab, so you should have a tab for whatever you were looking at before you initiated the transfer. In order to change the behaviour of the transfer window, open it using Tools | Transfer. Choose View on its menu, and pick either "Show transfers ins background" or "Never show transfers".
