2 Computer help questions

First off, I am really really really computer stupid.:thinking: As soon as people start throwing computer jargon around, my brain blanks over. There are 2 things that I really want to do though, so I am looking to you all for help :)

First I was wondering if there was a way to build a BBS like this one, very easy, without HTML or spending alot of money? It wouldn’t have as much traffic.

Second, I want to know how to secure my wireless home network.

If any of you geniuses (yes, I am kissing up) could help a dumb blonde out, I would be so grateful!

For the Bulletin Board you could try Bravenet. It's free and they have a point and click type interface to get most features up. It does help to know a lil HTML

To secure your wireless is simple. Log onto your router webpage. http://192.168.0.1 for dlink, http://192.168.1.1 for Linksys. Look for the area that says Wireless security, change it to WPA PERSONNAL or WPA PSA. Samething thing differnet brand. Type the password you want, save the settings. The router will restart at which point you will have to log on to your router/network by dble clicking the little computer icon in the bottom right, next to your time. That'll open up the box where you select your router. It'll ask for your pass and taadaa, bob's ur uncle..... Your set.
