I have been looking at these for a few days. I need one for travel (esp. when we go on a cruise), and so would like to have one that is battery powered as well as AC powered. It also needs to be very compact. I need one that would work with both my iPod Nano and with my dad's iPod Shuffle.

I am looking at the Logitec m22 primarily. Anyone have any experience with this? Have you been happy with it? Do you recommend something else?

Did some hunting for speakers around Christmas. My wife has an iPod Mini and I wanted to set her up for her pottery working. Also wanted small(ish) and compact for when we travel.

The m22 came close but sounded really "tinny" to me. Of course there is not gonna be much bass from any of these small speaker systems.

I chose the Altec Lansing inMotion Mini system. There is an inMotion system for just about any size iPod, w/ adapters for others.

Our Mini system folds up nicely, is battery and a/c powered and has an additional audio input so you can use any music device w/ it.

I highly recommend these.
