Just wondering if anybody has any opinions on the BlueParrot TalkPro B1000 GTX Wireless headset? The sell is Gentex speech recognition technology VXI has in other headsets. Plugs in USB, simple and works w computers that do not have bluetooth technology-

Great for Dragon

Thoughts?
Thx

This reviewer on the knowbrainer forum is using the headset w/ bluetooth and loves it. So I guess you can also get it w/ a usb base.

Also, in the forum discussion (Lunis) the Plantronics CS50-USB Wireless Headset (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/customer-reviews/B0006DPT5M/ref=cm_cr_dp_pt/103-1285377-2543010?%5Fencoding=UTF8&n=172282&s=electronics) is also mentioned.

Thanks-
Half the price of my GN Netcom wireless, and no compromise, with this USB unit is the report from the "Dragon" lady. O, :D. I can purchase one of these below the MFR cost, if anyones interested.

Question- Ok, so if we get the "bluetooth" version of the headset, then, does that mean we could use it "wherever" there's a bluetooth pieceof electronics, therefor for multiple "end uses"?

In your opinion, is Bluetooth just a Fad? This too shall pass?

See attached for USB setup pic.

I thought the following was funny

In view of the recent health scare, will there be any difficulties importing a Blue Parrot into the UK?

Or is it destined to go the way of the famous Norwegian Blue until it is nailed to its perch!! http://forum.knowbrainer.com/smileys/smilie1.gif

Isn't there a possiblity that bluetooth is going to be discontinued due to some lawsuit?
