Recently, I've been leaking a little & my bladder never completely empties (I could pee every ten minutes or so), my doctor has given me some pelvic floor excercises and recomended that I use a pad such as tenalady to help prevent embrassing situations.
I have some sensation but cannot really tell that I need to go until it is really urgent also I cannot "hold it".
I see a specialist about my bowel movements as I have very little control over them and can only predict them by the urgency of my stomach cramps. I will empty as soon as I am full :o
Any one got any solutions or advice until I can convince the doctor that I need to see someone who specialises in this area.

I have TM and have nearly normal sensation sexually if thats of any relevance......

What do your urodynamics studies show? Do you do intermittent catheterization? What is your SCI level and ASIA category? What medications are you taking to control your leakage?

In answer to your questions I haven't had a urodynamics study since I was first diagnosed. I currently do not have to use a catheter but am worried that catheterization will probably be the solution which is what worries me, I am not on any medication. I have TM at T1.
