Question For Wise Young

Have you been to any convetions or meetings where some new drugs are being talked about, specifically for our Neuro Pain? That sure would be nice. I know its alot to ask... but your Pals in Gainsville semed to think a few things would pop up in the near future??? Anything to report. Thanks, Mike (Florida)

I second the request. "Desperate" is too mild a word to describe my situation - I can't take this constantly worsening crap any longer.

All I can say is my life has been a blurr since my accident. I dont even know of thew things I say or do... I cant remember things, I am out of ttouch with the world and I simply do not know how long I can go. I am off the Nurontin that cleared my head a little. I am now on Morphene that sems to suit me better and does seem to mask the pain a little. Nothing waws worse than the Nurontin for me... I litterally do ot remember the things I did and it made me do things I ordinarily would have resisted rationally. At any rate, lets hope they come up with something for us. Its terrible, and no one knows what its like unless they have the severe level of pain. No one should have to go through this... No One. On the other hand... we must hang in there.. and hope for something??? Anything. Hang on... Please hang on. If nothing else we need each other to offer support and share new info... what works etc. I think I will have medicare as a back up soon.. not really sure how this stuff works... but im looking into the whole medical & SS thing.. They sign you up an this stuff when your hurt.. and ya dont know what its about or whatever. I dont know if anyone really understands it.. and I even called them... but hopefully It will help me be able to ATTEMPT to afford a Spinal Stimulator.. I would like to try it... but medical bills are through roof... 3 kids... college ... it all sucks... Hang in there. I will... Wise... whats new... LOL What about the Stim... what do you think????
