Can anyone please give input thru personal experience and what they have seen. Ok, I am T-12 complete 2 and a half years post. When first injured I had no function at all starting just above belly button. Slowly over time I have regained motor function to waist and can feel scrotum and tops of thighs. At about 18 months post I started having pain in anus area was bad the longer I sat but resided with bed rest and soon after came sharp stabbing-electrical pains in hip bone thigh area and it took my breath. This pain was usually at night when in bed and Pain meds would mask enough to sleep.
In the past few weeks it has been getting worse far as the pain. All I can say is my ass freaking hurts and my hip-thighs are making me miserable it is all day and night. I have been able to have erections since my injury but no ejaculation and now I have random erections that dont go away and it hurts. It is weird it feels like the old I gotta pee feeling along with I just got a nut feeling and after a while it just plain hurts. I have been feeling some on legs and able to make small movements that I couldnt a few weeks ago I think.
I have talked with Pain doc and he wants to try a Spinal stimulater.
I know this is sort of recovery but my question is has anyone seen or experienced a major return following severe pain and will it subside and or go away all together. I have to do something it is controlling me.
