I'm a screenwriter working on a script about a young paraplegic woman who unknowingly falls in love with the hit and run driver that injured her. I have a male friend who is a "complete" but his injury occurred over twenty years ago - he's been a great help but can't really provide me with the female perspective I'm looking for.
I need people (preferably women as my protag is a woman) who are willing to answer emailed questions (and maybe talk on the phone if you're open to that) about their condition and how it has effected various aspects of every day life. Unfortunately, I can't offer compensation -- just a pledge that my aim is to provide as authentic a rendering of my lead character as possible.
