ALS Patients Living in Louisiana, Mississippi or Alabama Impacted by the Hurricane Should Call ALSA Louisiana Chapter

The ALS Association (ALSA) urges patients with Lou Gehrig's disease who live in Louisiana, Mississippi or Alabama to contact ALSA's Louisiana Chapter in Baton Rouge if they need assistance in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Patients should call (800) 891-3746 or (225) 343-9880.

The Chapter can help with all services required by people with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and direct them to appropriate resources.

The Neurodegeneration forums are for scientific articles concerning ALS, Parkinson's, & Alzheimer's disease.
