Apple stirs up the rumor mill
Apple stirred up the rumor mill this week, sending out invitations for a press event next week that will "change everything."
Almost immediately, speculation began online as to what the company's news could be. Rumor mills quickly settled on two theories: a video version of the iPod, or the long-awaited iPod phone being developed with Motorola.
For Apple's fans, many of whom seem to love talking about the company about as much as they love the products, this was the prompt to begin an evening of speculation and gossip. But given Apple's history of big surprises, a few bloggers seems almost disappointed by all the "spoilers" out there.
