Hey Gang,
Revently someone was telling me about getting a queen sized matress overlay. I remember checking out some web sites about it, but either I couldn't find the prices or else they were VERY expensive. My son wants to move out of his hospital bed and back into his regular bed, which is queen sized, so we need to find some kinda overlay to prevent pressure.
1. For those of you who have them, would you mind telling me what kind you got and approx how much it cost?
2. Did you have to pay for it out of pocket? Or was there an organization that helped?
3. Has anyone tried those Temperpedic matresses they advertise on TV? Any idea if they work for pressure relief? Or how much they cost?
4. Does anyone have a used queen sized overlay that they don't use anymore? Or know where we might get the best prices/value on something like this?
I'm really happy that he's wanting to get back into a regular bed. Guess he's ready to shed that whole "medical patient" thing now and start getting his life back.
Cheers,
