Shortly after my son was injured, I read some comments on CareCure indicating the benefits of electrical stimm. During my correspondence with Albert and before we went for laserpuncture treatments, he suggested we stop the electrical stimm. Here is his explaination.
"Electric stimm. can burn the neuro-muscle junction in individuals having water in their muscles. Thus they lose the use of muscle fibres without noticing it. It is a precautionary measure in order to keep the muscles integrity when they'll be working again during or after laserpuncture treatments. Those who think electric stimm is a must have certainly not the same approach as we have through experience and do not have the laser, which reactivates the muscle functions. I'm sure in a few years we'll say it is a colossal mistake to use electric stimm. That's my opinion.
If you drop an electric razor in the bath, it electrocutes the person who is having his bath, this is what happens to the muscles but on a microscopic scale." Comments appreciated.
