Pam and Phil Morgan to sing Sunday in Bonne Terre
Pam Morgan has sung about her faith in Jesus for years. Now she tells about what she believes is the miracle of faith in her life.
Morgan and her husband Phil will be featured in worship at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at East Bonne Terre Baptist Church.
The Morgans have told their story on many television shows, including Oprah. She talks of how a car accident in 2000 injured her spinal cord. Her doctor called it "the most severe case of spinal dislocation he had ever seen." Her vertebrae were completely severed and her spine was wrenched into a sharp "S" curve.
Her husband was told she would never walk again. Thousands prayed. Pam had 10 surgeries for the spinal cord injury and various other injuries. Now, two years later, she is walking with only a slight limp.
