sorry guys. i have another stim question. my pain for the most part is under control and kept "tolerable." i've been receiving stim and notice that my pain has increased. one leg is worse than the other. could that be b/c that side is working harder to make a connection? i know i shouldn't, but i sometimes take a couple more neurontin and darvocet to take it back to the tolerable level. it never goes away. now, if the pain is suppressed w/pills does that mean that the nerves wouldn't be able to make a connection or try to make one?

sorry........ still not quite sure ... NMES FES?
TENS.. ..
i used to have a increase in neuropathic pain with NMES..
talk to your pain management doc about the need to take care of your breakthrough pain, they may ok the increase of meds for this or give you something that may work better..
ultram works well on this type of pain too
