Zelnorm? For Men

After all tests it seems that my sweating and chills (above level c5)could be IBS. Dr wants me to take Zelnorm. I really cannot afford this medicaton $175.00. was woundering if there are alteratives? Have not spoken to Dr yet cause I didnot relize what he was prescribing until I went to pick it up.Also mostly seen this on TV for women sup with that?
My symtoms are PAIN in lower right ab, sweating and chills above level of injury c5.had ultra sound,cat scan couple years ago with nothing found.So I and have lived with the pain but now it has been steady for about 2 months daily.I think Dr feels that since I've been bithin so long about the pain try somethinmg else. Anybody got similiar pain?

cant they give you some samples to see if it even works...if it works with the samples, at leastyou may know what the pain is, and try other cheaper ibs meds for the same relief..
weird how it states it only works in women
