shooting pain up the back into the head

Jesse actually asked me to post this question. When he finds himself slouched in his chair, he straightens his back up. Each time he does it, he will get a shooting pain from the C7 point of ionjury into the back of the head. Any concerns here?

Does he have "hardware" in there? If he does, just as a precaution maybe an x-ray would be in order to make sure all is correct. Use old films for comparison. Sounds like the ol' monkey on the back syndrome! (just trying for a little humor, sorry) Debra

Yes, he has a plate and screws right in the C7 area. That is what is worrying me but he doesnt seem concerned, however I made a Dr. appt for him and it is tomorrow and I am going to request an MRI. It has been a year anyway since his last one. Thanks for answering lilsister.

are they going to enhance the MRI with the dye they inject?
