With extreme difficulty, managed to get out for ultrasound and MRI (though they read the wrong prescription, and only did the MRI on my neck, and not my back as well.) Ultrasound of abdomen was clean, as usual - no stones or anything anywhere (so the sensations of organ pain are still not due to organ problems.)

MRI was same as always, too. The hole in my cord from C4-C6 is still there, and hasn't changed size. The pains don't keep worsening because of that area.

It's tougher than ever to eat, sit, type, sleep, etc. What a way to live.

Alan, are they going to MRI your back another time? I'm glad everything else is clean, but sorry about all your pain.

spounds horribe the pain, i dont normally say this.
bbut have you tried marijuana for your pain

I've tried Marinol. Only had real pot once, back in 1985. It actually increased the pain, because it heightened my perception of it.

Don't know if my back will get done this year or not.

i have found that when i am awoken with really bad pain usually 3 hits will work pretty quickly to qwell the growing pain , and will keep me out of agony until the break through meds kick in
