In the morning my legs burn. I am wondering if the neurotin I took the night before wore off or why do they burn in the morning? Once I get up and moving they don't burn anymore. The other day it was anytime I laid down. What's the deal?

Hi Camille,
What is this burning like? Can you explain the symptoms a little more? The usual questions: Has anything changed in your daily routine that might affect it? Has your activity level changed? This may be something that can be dealt with through a change in routine/diet/etc along with meds to help in the meantime. Or, as you have alluded, it may be neuropathic, or even a combination. If that's so than you may need a change in your neurontin dosage. That's the best I can guess at so far (and that's all it is, guessing, so don't take it as medical advise or anything). And if this pain continues, or gets worse, you should see your doctor about it ASAP.
Never underestimate an individual, Never overestimate a bureaucracy.
My legs burn more in the morning and also if I dose off in during the day. I am also on Neurontin and I don't believe that this is drug related.
