I would like to know if anyone is using,or has used a device known as the urocycler. This device connects to an indwelling catheter. The design allows the bladder to fill as it would naturally. It utilizes ceramic magnets which open the valve by feeling pressure from the filling bladder. The company says their device helps eliminate bladder spasms as well as keeping urine out of the drain tube thus helping minimize a source of bacteria.Let me know ok? Thanks

Longbeard,

If you do a search of the forums you'll find a few threads where people have talked about this in the past. Use the Find button and just enter "Urocycler"

Longbeard,

I was put on it thinking it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. It clogged several times- the only times I went dysreflexic.

Does it actually give range of motion to the bladder like it advertises, I don't think so.
