Jain PharmaBiotech Issues a Report on Pain
BASEL, Switzerland, Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Jain PharmaBiotech today announced the release of the new report titled "Pain Therapeutics -- Drugs, Markets and Companies."
Pain is one of the most common conditions. The worldwide analgesic market was worth $38 billion during the year 2002 and is expected to nearly double to $75 billion by the year 2010. This 255-page report describes the latest concepts of mechanisms of pain as a basis for the management and development of new drugs for pain. Important segments of the pain market included are arthritis, migraine, neuropathic pain and cancer pain. Multidisciplinary management of various other pain syndromes is also described.
