Anyone ever have any pressure and pain around the uretha. I don't think it is coming from the bladder. It feels like right near the opening. My urine is clear and I don't have any fever.
Any ideas?

If you use rubber caths maybe you've developed a latex allergy?

My caths are clear plastic. I think I figured it out. I bathe in a shower chair. I don't think I am getting all the soap off which is causing the burning.

Try the liquid soaps like Dial anti-bacterial. They don't contain all the hardeners added that bar soaps do. It's funny cause when you first try them your skin feels slippery all over but that's because there's no film left. It's also cheap if you buy the super size and keep refilling the bath size dispensers.
