Any help for tendonitis in the biceps tendon?

the longer I push and the older I get, the more shoulder and upper body pain.I've had rotator cuff repair and the doc said my bicep may start to hurt too. And it does on thetop of my shouder.,I take darvocet and duragesic patch for severe shoukder pain, but when It's moved the wrong way nothing helps. It's too painful to use to pick up a coffee cup sometimes. Surgery made it worse. I did get some relief from an ortho. surgeon once-A cortisone shot. I was in heaven for a month or so, but since then they don't work anymore. If you've just got simple tendonitis, rest is the best, till it heals. Try an orthopedic dr. if it doesn't get better.wr
