I took a few kids and their dads hunting here this week, since dove season opened on the first of Sept. What a hoot! I figured that it had been something like 39 years since I dove hunted as a kid.
The good news is that I am still a kid.
We are using the "you kill it, you eat it" philosophy... not to be confused with "if it flies, it dies" philosophy.
Hunting in a wheelchair is not without its problems. Really have to spot the birds when they fall, because you are not likely to bound out and pick the bird up.
