anybody give New Jersey a chance tonight at home? The Lakers are favored by 3 points. I expected the spread to be higher. I would have taken New Jersey if the spread had been six points like the first two games, but now can't decide.

I moved your topic to the Sports forum.

Looks like the Lakers will dominate. Man I hate the Lakers.

Onward and Upward!

not a big deal as far as moving the topic. I put it on life, because it had nothing to do with disabilities or wheelchair.
I took the New Jersey Nets and the points, but it was a push. The guys in Las Vegas who make the lines continue to amaze me. I don't know who sets the lines, but it does not matter the sport. . . They are usually pretty close. Maybe we need to call someone in Vegas and see what they say the odds are for "finding a cure for spinal cord injury "? I'll bet they would be close.

I like magic, just don't care much for Shaq. I would like to see Kobe traded to another team to see how good he really is. He is going to give MJ a run for the money on a lot of records IMO. I saw Shaq play quite a few times in college and he couldn't make a basket to save his life. Although you have to give him credit for the improvement in the last couple of years.

Last night's loss by the Nets was painful to watch. Sigh. Wise.

I don't follow hoops, I'm a hockey freak, but I wondered if you heard someone the other night, on the radio, when he was asked " So how do you stop Shaq?" and his reply was " You get Mr & Mrs. O'Neil together and make another one!" http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif I thought it was pretty funny. Anyway, that's about all I've got to say in this post, unless of course you want to talk hockey.( I didn't think so ) Enjoy your playoffs guys!

does anyone believe that New Jersey can hang in there tonight? The betting service I use is showing the Lakers by 4 points. I'm wondering whether New Jersey will give up or not, if they get down by a few points. I'm leaning towards taking New Jersey and the points.

I'm hoping New Jersey wins at least one game. I REALLY wish that Sacramento had won the Western Championships. I think they played better than the Lakers and deserved to win it but............they didn't. I'm not fussy about the Lakers either - maybe it's because they act TOO confident and really ARE very good. Of course our favourite to win was the Dallas Mavericks because of our home-town star Steve Nash!

well, I believe it is a sucker's bet to take New Jersey and the points, but I did it anyway. Line was still at plus 4. it would not surprise me to see the Lakers win by 30.
