May 18-19 Y-Knot Cup Regatta
Y-Knot Sailing Association (http://www.timesunion.com/communities/yknot/)
Located on scenic Lake George in upstate New York, YKnot is an adaptive sailing program designed and run by and for people with disabilities. We believe that sailing is a sport that can be enjoyed by all and, in many respects, puts those with mobility restrictions on a more even footing with non-disabled peers. We are dedicated to removing the physical access and financial barriers that make sailing prohibitive for some, so all who are so inclined can experience the excitement of this sport. Novice and experienced sailors alike are welcome to join us as we enjoy the excitement, sport and camaraderie of sailing.
