What types of sports are available for a high level quad?
I have heard about power chair soccer. Does anyone play that? Where do you play?
Before my injury I was very athletic and competitive. I think it would do me good to get back into some type of sports.
Any suggestions would help.
Thanks!

Here's a great links page for disabled sports. Good luck!

I know of a power-soccer league in our area, but that is on the West Coast. Suggest you call Kessler or other large SCI center in your area and talk to their recreation therapy departments. They should be able to link you up (or help you start a team in your area).

There are other options too. I know several people with C4 injuries who sail (Martin 17s) and bowl (with a ball ramp) as well as those who use airguns and blow darts to compete.

Less active sports like radio controlled cars and planes are also an option with special controls.

Check out Sports 'N Spokes and the events held at the National Veterans Wheelchair Games. Many of these are open to people with higher injuries.
