need wheelchair sports in kansas city area

How do I find what wheelchair sports are available in the Kansas City Missouri area. I have tried looking in the phone books and asked area hospitals to no avail. Would like to get into bowling, pool, softball, fishing. etc. Any help will be appreciated. Thank You. Galen
