My husband and I are travelling to New York in 3 weeks. My concern is my transfer board. We are going to be taking cabs all the time, so I need a transfer board that is very portable. Folding would be ideal. Then I can just hook it on to the back of my chair. Has anyone every heard of one or have any suggestions of what to do?
Here is one product I have looked at but not actually used. You need to use one of their small sized slider sheets (also on this site) with it:

There is also a European slide board that is plastic and folds. Can't remember it's name, but it was black plastic, and partially folded. It was fairly expensive (about $90 as I remember).
