New Jersey is in the national spotlight because of its stance on stem cell research, as well as its commitment to spinal cord injury research due to the New Jersey Commission on Spinal Cord Research.
Please see a post that I made in the Cure forum called A Case for Funding of Stem Cell Research in New Jersey (http://carecure.org/forum/showthread.php?t=21695). A very important vote coming up for the referendum to allow New Jersey voters to choose whether or not they want to fund stem cell research is coming up in May. Rumors are that this referendum may be in trouble in the Assembly because all members of the Assembly are up for re-election. Please let representatives in your district know that this is an important issue for you and that a vote for the referendum is a vote for democracy and the vote against the referendum is a vote against stem cell research in the state.
