Hello all, just needed some info. I am purchasing a car from a car dealer out in Huntington, Long Island, and wanted to know if anyone knows of someone or some company that converts cars to hand controls...I have a place that did my cars before but they are out in New Jersey, so it's not exactly easy for me to get the car out to Jersey and converted, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Call them and ask for a referral to a LI company. You can also call DriveMaster in Fairfield NJ (we've used DriveMaster) and ask. You can also call Mount Sinai Rehab in NY or Kessler in West Orange. Ask enough people and you start getting the same answers.
Good Luck,
Carl

We just had hand controls put on our new car and are still happy with DriveMaster's work. It is the third time that we have used them over nine years and all three cars are still in active use by two ab drivers and my son using the hand controls. I'm not sure what you are calling workmanship (for hand controls), but the controls work well, are reliable, and this last time DM had to machine a special bracket which they did in a day. BTW, according to Busani, some of the hand controls that they install (the push-pull ones) are DriveMaster Hand Controls.
My only problem now is that I'll never get a chance to drive the new car!
