Hi,I'm looking to find sci specific sub acute/long term rehab in N.Y.My mom has left acute therapy at helen hayes and is now in a facility that does not meet the standards for sci.any info will be greatly appreciated...mark

Dr. Ahn handled most of the SCI's when I was there. I doubt he has anything to do with admissions but his secretaries, (Alice or Nora), could probably give you information. The # is (212) 263-6122.

Also try Kessler Institute in West Orange, NJ (973-731-3600). It's quite close to NYC and in a very nice setting. It's now a Select Medical company, but I think still very good.
