I live in Morris County and have both these conditions, in addition to a split spinal cord (assumed to be result of pressure) I see a group in NY for yearly check-ups, but they don't want to do maintenance care...they are basically a surgical group. Any suggestions for a neuro group in NJ who can care for me? I've been to several already and all they want to do is stick a shunt in me.(no way...no how...NEVER) My NY group says I'm high risk for duraplasty because of the split.
Anybody else around who has this? I've had some great success with fairly new pain med and wouldn't love to swap some experiences.
