Sexuality and Women with SCI
UAB is recruiting female participants with sexual arousal disorder resulting from a traumatic spinal cord injury. This clinical trial of a specific drug treatment is to determine the effects of the drug on improving sexual arousal in women with SCI.
Participant Requirements - Female who had a spinal cord injury more than 12 months ago, 18 years age and older. Participate for 16 week clinical study during which time you will need to make office visits to the UAB Spain Rehabilitation Center clinic. The study includes an initial 4 week non-treatment phase. This is followed by a 12 week oral tablet phase during which you will receive either active or inactive tablets.
Study related treatment and office visits are paid for by the pharmaceutical sponsor. You will receive $30.00 for each visit.
