I have a C3-C4-C5 injury with a C5-C6 return. I have always had burning pain from day one, sixteen years ago. Some days it would be much better then others. Usually if I woke up without it I would go all day without it but if I woke up with it then it would be there all day. Lately it has been there when I wake up but will ease up during the day.
I started taking coral calcium in distilled water to help raise ph levels. I was told if I raised my alkaline in my body it would help my whole body in the healing process. Along with this, I'm taking extra minerals.
Do you think if my body was starting to heal itself that would increase burning pain. The one doctor at this place didn't think so but he doesn't know SCI. What would be the first signs of my body recovering? Would too much calcium and mineral cause UTI's or stones?
