Hi all. In the last 3 weeks I have been putting 1 cap full of vinegar in two litres of water twice in 24 hours. Since doing doing this I have notice the inside of my S P C has change. Before it would slowly gather a build up of a white colour substance over a time of 4 to 5 weeks. Now it's been in for 4weeks and it looks as clear as it was when first inserted.

? Is this a good thing or a bad thing.
? Is there a explanation for this.

Thanks all.

Vinegar and Water as a Cleaner (http://frugalliving.about.com/cs/tips/a/vinclean.htm)
Hi Jake ... I think it's a good thing, and you'll see in this article that vinegar and water is a common and effective (and inexpensive) cleaner. I would assume, then, that the difference in your SPC is a good thing, but I would like to hear from SCI Nurse or another expert. I used to use vinegar and water to clean out Scott's leg bags and tubes. It did a great job; however I've only had to deal with an SPC on a temporary basis (after a surgery of his), so I really can't comment in that regard.
