Throw them in a blender with frozen strawberries and some fruit juice or yogurt or tofu and make smoothies. Then you can freeze what you don't consume for another time.

You can freeze bananas right in their skin (in a baggie) for use in things like smoothies or banana bread. When using them this way, you can thaw them just enough to squeeze the frozen banana out into the blender and blend it while still frozen.

or just throw them in the freezer, skin and all, and use them in smoothies, they make it really thick and creamy.

Bananas and cornflakes - my all time fav childhood breakfast!

Or - make a 'fudganna' - hot fudge sundae with sliced bananas - yum!

Banana frosting: 1 or 2 bananas, box of powdered sugar, a little milk. Mash the bananas and then slowly add the sugar. Use milk to determine consistency.

Use it to frost a simple white or yellow cake. Sometimes the kids and I spread frosting between graham crackers. With a big glass of milk ... yum!

Martha - Does the frosting turn color as bananas do?

No, it stays an off-white banana color. It's a very intense frosting. I usually use it on a banana cake, but my kids and I like to make homemade frosting (or use leftover) and spread it on graham crackers.

It's one of the easiest frosting recipes I've ever made.
