What do you like to drink to cool off on those warm days?
A Diet Coke that's been in the freezer for about 15 minutes is pure heaven to me--at work or at home. However, when I'm a little more serious about my refreshment, my first choices are:
-Gin and tonic w/a twist of lime http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/cool.gif
-Good ol pina coloda or strawberry daquiri
-Screwdriver w/Absolut
-Ice cold beer when the weather and the food are really HOT!

Wastin' away again in Margaritaville....searchin for my lost shaker of salt...
If I can see it, then I can do it. If I believe it, there's nothing to it.
I would go for a beer from Belgium if i should let myself loose.
Or else cherryjuice is simply a drink for a god(ess)

You can never go wrong with the Long Island Ice Tea, but when Im by the pool in the summer you need and ice cold Corona. Sometimes a big glass of lemonade will also do the trick too.

Ice water with a twist of lime and Wild Turkey or Jack. If its not too hot Jack and Coke. Ice cold Grosch would be nice, or Coors lite, or ................................

I love margaritas, but tequila makes me crazy, really. I become a different person ... hmmm or maybe I become my REAL person! Gotta think about that one.
Anyway, the hot mexican restaurant in town is famous for its margaritas, and they are fantastic, and their frozen sangria. MMMM. Now that's a fun drink on a hot night ... and it doesn't make me nuts. http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif

The Caipirinha....mmm Limes, cachaca or dry vermouth (Cinzano is best) and sugar. LOTS of ice. Perfect on a hot hot day.
It tastes just like Limeade!

Is there such a thing as a truly "good" drink that's not alcoholic? Heh.
I, personally, am a fan of of water. http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

Sweet tea (gag!)! http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/tongue.gif All my Mississippi relatives drink that too, and I can't stand it. Give me plain unsugared iced tea (Constant Comment makes a good sun tea), with lots of ice.
