and it tells me i need to respond to an email to confirm before I can access parts of this site. Well in order to respojnd to it I need to receive it first. Will whoever sends those out please send it?

I just validated your email and registration so that you can post. You should go to your profile (under MySpace if you are using the new interface or MyPop if you are using an old browser and the old interface) and make sure that your email address is correct.

You are apparently also registered as Cowboy_MT since I can't imagine that there are two MT's from Missoula, Montana visiting our site. Since you already have 142 posts under that name, perhaps you should consider continuing to use that first registration... That is better than being registered under two names.
