There have been all sorts of conversations about the membership of this forum. I just conducted an analysis of the membership, as of October 16 at which time there were 2849 registered members. Here are some information that might be of interest.

1. 334 registrants have a duplicate email address. Some of these are different people who share the same email. As far as I can tell, the number of duplicate registrants is less than 150.

2. Here are some statistics on the page views, post counts, and visits.
• 1203 registrants have viewed over 100 pages of the site.
• 1103 registrants have posted at least 1 message on the site
• 1058 registrants have visited the site over 10 times.

3. A core group of 451 visitors who have come more than 100 times. About 500 people have viewed more than 1000 pages of the site. Over 411 people have posted over 10 message.

I think that it is safe to say that we have a very loyal membership. 8-).

Wise.

Over the past month, we averaged 15062 views and 1070 visitors per day. During the past three months, the number of daily page views averaged 13496 and the number of daily visitors averaged 1019. This compares with 12568 page views and 1130 visitors in the preceding quarter. Over the past month, we have had 32615 visitors viewing 432,547 pages on the site and making 5072 postings. At any given time, 30-50% of the visitors to the site are not registered.

If there is interest, we can delete duplicate registrations that have had no views, i.e. registrants with duplicate emails who have not viewed any postings after their registration This will eliminate about 22 registrations.

In the coming weeks, we will be analyzing the logs of the carecure server again. This may give us a better indication of the number of unique visitors (based on their IP addresses rather than their registration) to the main carecure site. The last time that I carried out this analysis was in March 2002. http://carecure.rutgers.edu/spinewire/Articles/Community18Mar02.htm Also, it would be interesting to know how many people have taken advantage of the chatroom services.
