We have been slowly but steadily increasing the number of visitors and page-views on this site. In 2001, we had 507 daily visitors looking at about 4336 page views a day. In the first three months of the year, we had about 1000 vistors viewing about 9000 pages per day. The numbers started climbing in March to about 1200 visitors and 11500 page-views per day. In the past week, we had over 1600 visitors per day.
Today, the number of visitors really jumped to an all time record. As of midnight (the clock switches to the next day at 3 AM... west coast time), we had 5566 visitors looking at nearly 14000 page views. I don't know what happened but that is a big uptick. Somebody must have linked us or there has been a news article about us.
