is this book more for someone in the medical field or the patient as well? If anyone has read it please let me know if it's more a reference for the provider, or if it would be practical also for the patient's use in keeping their providers informed as many dr's don't know how to go about dealing with a paralysis patient. Finding a new doctor isn't always practical in some areas.

Excellent reference, Wise.

I'm preparing a piece on ageing with a disability to present throughout the province via Teleheath. We will have a professional doing the presentation but this book presents a wealth of topics to touch upon.
