Has anyone ever seen or heard of a large size walker like the ones we put our babies in,to learn to walk around without falling? I'd use it if I had one. Might even be kind of fun. Any ideas??

It is more like a "baby bouncer" than a walker, but most of the companies that have ceiling track lift systems also now sell ambulation suspension slings that are used with a ceiling track set up. They can be used with a free standing frame as well if installation is a problem. These systems are NOT cheap though.

That system sounds pretty good. I may just have to make my own baby walker with a little ingenuity. I think I could get the same results as do these fancy suspension gadgets. Thanks for the info. LJW

i have been fantasizing about something like that for years. if you find one, will you let me know?
There are a couple companies who make devices like this. They are designed for those with the ability to ambulate, but who have poor balance. The "sling" part is not designed to provide full support, but this feature could probably be custom made (if you are creative or know someone else who is handy with a sewing machine):
