He was moved there 2 days ago from a local hospital in Virgina. We are utterly thrilled. It took alot of fighting with insurance, but he is THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! If anyone here is there, please private topic me and I'll give you his name, his family would LOVE company.

Hello Ami,
I am a long-time spinal injuy but will be going to Shepherd Center this coming Friday (1/7/05) for evaluation on my left knee.
I hope the best for your cousin as he will be in one of the best centers in the world.

Awesome! Shepherd Center is the place to be. Make sure he gets on Candy and Julies care team. They're the best! I'm from Charlotte North Carolina, a new C5/6 injury and was at the Shepherd Center about a month ago. I'll be going back soon for additional therapy. Not sure exactly when, but maybe he'll still be there. I hope the Shepherd Center is as good to him, as it was to me!
