A fifteen year old in Texas injured T 7-8-9 on Saturday the 18th and is waiting for stabilization some time next week. Where would he go in the United States and who does his family need to talk with about participating in the Proneuron Clinical Trails?
Thank you for helping!

I found the info for recruitment and have heard that Craig will begin Clinical Trail with Proneuron at the end of November. Does anyone have anything state-side now?

Just so folks know, Proneuron trials will start at the earliest November 17 2003 at Craig and are not available in the US until Criag is on line.

The Mom, there are two other trial centers... Mt. Sinai in New York and Kessler in New Jersey. However, I think that both of these centers are not slated to start their trials for several months. Wise.

The mom,

You can try Dr. Daniel Lammertse @ Craig Hospital - 303-789-8000.

They're slated for mid November I believe for the first (Proneuron) patients.

I just went to a meeting in Trenton New Jersey celebrating the signing of an agreement between the state of New Jersey and Israel, to initiate the New Jersey-Israel Life Science Year. It was attended by all the major New Jersey leaders and many business and other people. Organized by the New Jersey-Israel Commision, the celebration also honored Proneuron as one of two major Israeli companies that have just decided to establish their headquarters in New Jersey.

Proneuron has formed a partnership with a company called Progenitors, Inc. in Hackensack, NJ to make and prepare the activated macrophages for transplantation in New York (Mt. Sinai), New Jersey (Kessler), and Georgia (Shepard). I spoke to Nir Nimrod (the CEO of Proneuron) and he told me that two Americans recently received activated macrophage transplants in Israel, under the new phase 2 trial. They are ready to start transplanting in the U.S. within the next week or two...

Melissa Holley was at the Declaration of Mutual Intent for A New Jersey-Israel Life Science Year. She, as some of you know, was the first recipient of activated macrophages in the Proneuron phase 1/2 trial. It was wonderful to see her. She has started college in Arkansas and is a pre-law student at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. She had recovered substantial sensations and some movement in her legs after the activated macrophage transplant.
