I'm a C4/C5 Quad 6 years post, and my dog is no longer with me. Her name is Gretchen and she has been an inspiration to me since she was born in 1990. She's a German-Shepard and I use to throw the ball for her or a stick and she'd always bring it back for me. When I was in rehab they had this poster on the wall. It had a picture of a man in a wheelchair throwing a stick to a German-Shepard out in the country. This poster is a lasting memory for me of the two of us together. If anyone out there has seen this poster, or know's how I could get ahold of a copy of it, I would be forever grateful. PS: The rehab center dosen't have it anymore and can be of no help to attain one. Thank you for any help in this plight of mine. Dan

Dan,
The poster may have been special made by a former rehaber..I have never seen this anywhere..and am quite into dogs.
You might write the German Shepherd Club of
America. Someone may know of how to get your
hands on one.
If not perhaps one of your photos you have of
you and her could be made into a poster.
It's so hard to loose a long time friend of this caliper..so hard. But they are forever
ethched into our hearts.
Good luck on this hunt.
If I hear anything from any of my dog sources..I'll let you know.

Hey Dan, I heard that the poster may be a Jay or Quickie poster. You may wanna try contacting those companies and check with them.

Dan there is a framed picture just like what you described up at the rehab I go to. I will see what I can find out about it tomorrow. http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif
Aerodynamically, the bumble bee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumble bee doesn't know that, so it goes on flying anyways--unknown

Dan,
I'm sad to hear about Gretchen. It's not easy to lose a canine friend...and I just wanted to let you know I am thinking about you...sorry I am no help with the poster, but if all else fails, maybe you have a pic of you and Gretchen that you can have blown up to poster size...I hope so...
Take care,
Teena
It is a Jay cushions poster. I remember seeing this floating around the internet, I'll see if I can dig up a location and link it.
I think I found it, it is at Sunrise Medical's website in the image library. You could give them a call to see if they can direct you to a print of it. Is this it?....
(Hey, how come no attachments are allowed in this forum?)
Here's a link, I hope this works...
